The Masterclass

What is included in the class?

You’ll find all the tools and equipment necessary to disassemble a mechanical movement. You’ll be working on a Swiss ETA-6497.

What will we do?

We’ll discuss a brief history of timekeeping, demystifying the complexity of a mechanical watch, followed by a hands on experience. By dismantling and reassembling parts of a manual-wind ETA 6497 Swiss movement, using a set of screwdrivers, tweezers and a loupe, you’ll learn about the various components that make a watch tick.

Is it difficult or do I need any previous experience?

Our classes are open to all and suitable for complete beginners.

The Location

Where is the store and how can I get to it?

Our store is located at 64 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island. Take the MTR to Sheung Wan Station and use exit A2.

Where can I park my car?

The closest parking lot is nearby in Burd Street otherwise there is various metered parking spaces around Sheung Wan.

Is the store disability friendly?

Our Masterclass workshop, where the classes are held, is only accessible via a staircase and our store has one step. If you would like to still participate contact us and we’ll try to arrange something for you.
