Description
Introduced in 1980 as the successor to the GMT-Master 1675, the 16750 remained in production until 1988. It marked a significant evolution with the Caliber 3075, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, which modernized the GMT line. Early examples featured matte dials without white-gold surrounds, while later versions adopted glossy dials with applied white-gold indexes, aligning with the aesthetic of newer Rolex models. This transitional design makes the 16750 particularly interesting to collectors, as it embodies both vintage traits and modern upgrades. Its production run was relatively short, further enhancing its rarity and desirability in today’s market.
