Rolex GMT-Master 16750 Pepsi

The Rolex GMT-Master 1675 from around 1975 is a classic 40mm stainless steel pilot’s watch, fitted with the iconic red-and-blue “Pepsi” aluminum bezel insert and a glossy or matte black dial with luminous markers. It features crown guards and an acrylic crystal, giving it that unmistakable vintage Rolex sports-watch presence. Inside beats the automatic Caliber 1575, offering a 24-hour GMT hand to track a second time zone in conjunction with the rotating bezel. With its slim case profile, warm acrylic crystal, and gently faded bezel tones on many examples, a mid-1970s 1675 wears with effortless charm and remains one of the most charismatic travel watches ever made.

Millenary Watches It was developed from Rolex’s collaboration with Pan Am Airways, giving pilots a robust tool to read two time zones at a glance via the extra 24-hour hand and rotating bezel. Wind Vintage Over its two-decade run, the 1675 evolved through numerous dial and case variations—gilt to matte dials, pointed to rounded crown guards, different bezel colorways—creating a rich landscape of sub-references that collectors obsess over today. BQ Watches Bob’s Watches A 1975 example sits in the “mature” period of production, typically with a matte tritium dial and solid crown guards, embodying the archetypal vintage GMT-Master look that has defined Rolex’s travel watch identity ever since.
