It replaced the all‑green “Hulk” (Ref. 116610LV), opting instead for a black dial paired with a green ceramic bezel. This design shift gave the watch a sharper, more versatile look while still honoring the Submariner’s tradition of bold color. The MK1 designation refers to the earliest production run, with subtle dial and bezel details that make it especially prized among collectors.
