Parris DaCosta Hayashima was founded by three close friends, Richard Parris, Thomas DaCosta and Satoshi Hayashima. As these three shared the love of fine watchmaking, the decide together to create something of genuine quality: combining the skills of Switzerland’s finest watchmakers and Japan’s master craftsmen.
This newly brand create their first watch, Konpeki. Its an elegant, slim and steel timepiece for everyday use. Konpeki, which is an ancient Japanese shade of blue, is frequently used in traditional fabric creation. This first product which after led to the second watch Kagomimochi dos not quite differ but still share differences such a unique color variation and box containing this timepiece made out from hundred year old Camphor trees in Kyushu.
And finally, the last and recent product of Parris DaCosta Hayashima company is the Kagomimochi watch. Named after the Japanese word “鏡餅” which means mirror rice cake and is traditional Japanese New Year decoration.It is composed of two round mochi (rice cakes), the smaller one placed on top of the larger one.
