Description

The Navygraf line originated in the 1970s as a robust dive watch designed for professionals and military use. Over the decades, it became a symbol of YEMA’s partnership with the French Navy (Marine Nationale), culminating in the official Navygraf Marine Nationale in 2021. The Pearl CMM.20 edition, launched in 2025, reinterprets this heritage with a slimmer case (just 9.75mm thick) and luxurious mother-of-pearl elements, while retaining the Navygraf’s hallmark durability and 200m water resistance. It represents a modern evolution of a historic tool watch, balancing utility with elegance.

YEMA was founded in 1948 by Henry-Louis Belmont, a graduate of the National Watchmaking School of Besançon. By the 1960s and 70s, YEMA had become France’s largest watch manufacturer, producing over 500,000 watches annually. The brand gained fame with models like the Superman (1963) for divers, the Rallygraf for motorsport, and the Navygraf for military use. Ownership shifted over time — from Matra/Richard Mille to Seiko — before returning to French hands under the Ambre Group in 2009. Today, YEMA remains an independent manufacture based in Morteau, France, designing and assembling watches in-house, with a strong focus on heritage-inspired tool watches and in-house calibers like the CMM.20.
